The 3V Dental Associates Commitment to Safety
In these challenging times, priorities have shifted. But our commitment to your safety remains the same. As always, we take great pride in ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff.
With that in mind, we at 3V Dental Associates would like to share 17 additional steps we are taking at our Port Washington dental office to ensure the safety of our team and our patients. As always, we strive for excellence and meet or exceed CDC, OSHA and ADA best practices for dental clinics.
By outlining these safety steps, we hope to offer our patients peace-of-mind and allow you to share in our pursuit of the highest safety standards.
If you should have any questions about our policies or procedures, or wish to speak with our team directly, please do not hesitate to contact our office directly.
Daily Health Monitoring of Staff
Our team is monitored throughout the day with no-contact temperature checks.
No Hugs or Handshakes
While this is something we’ll really miss, this added measure will ensure the safety of you and our team.
Virtual Tours
While we would love to walk you through our office to show off our amazing space, you can view pictures of our modern practice in our Gallery.
Virtual Check-in
Check-into your appointment from your car and avoid our waiting room. From your car, you’ll skip the waiting room and head right to your dental chair.
Patient Screening
A quick health questionnaire, completion of our consent form, and no-touch temperate reading will be completed at your arrival.
Expand Your Visit
Save time and allow our team to accomplish more in one visit instead of multiple visits.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
While our team continues to wash their hands and sanitize our office after every patient, we ask that you disinfect your hands before entering your room.
Thorough Cleanings
You know we love clean teeth, but nowadays, a clean office is always super important. We’ll thoroughly wide, clean, and disinfect all surfaces and equipment in between each patient.
Cleaner Instruments
While we have always cleaned instruments between patients, we’re going even further by heat and pressure cleaning between uses.
Mask On
If you want to check out our team’s beautiful smiles, check out our Facebook or Instagram accounts. In the meantime, we’ll be protecting you and our team behind N95 and ASTM Level 3 masks.
Face Shields
From time to time, our team may require the use of an FDA approved PET face shield.
Super Suction
When needed, we have the ability to use high speed suction to decrease the chances of airborne contamination
HEPA Air Filtration
What a breath of fresh air! We have added HEPA-grade filters to our HVAC system, along with UV light that removes bioaerosols.
